I am an Earth Science enthusiast. A geologist by training, I have a passion for ichnofossils. Studying ancient traces makes me feel like a detective, piecing together clues to unravel the mysteries of the past. I find it magical that a moment in an animal’s life can be captured in the rock record for me to witness millions of years later. I am based at the University of Cape Town and am currently investigating dinosaur tracks and fossil insect nest structures, and wondering about the traces that I leave.
