I am a doctoral candidate with the Palaeobiology Research Group at the University of Cape Town. My current research aims to provide a detailed description of the growth and development of the Permian dicynodont, Diictodon, through an ontogenetic series. I am using a multi-scale approach which examines both the gross skeletal features of these creatures, as well as delving under the microscope to uncover information that is hidden within the microstructure of their bones and teeth. When not working on Diictodon, I can be found editing the next issue of PalNews.
